I just wanted to share this helpful information to all you. I also posted this as a reply to another thread but I wanted to make sure that you can all read it so I created a new thread for it.
Did you know that we weigh lighter in the morning? Yes it is true.
Most water from the body is lost by perspiration and breathing out, called 'insensible loss', and that occurs through the night. So in the morning, the water from the previous day is all but gone. Same for weight of food, we add weight from food during the day, but by the time morning comes around, its been burned off mostly.
Metabolism is highest during the morning, which burns more calories and increases fluid loss through perspiration and expiration. Bladder & bowel evacuation upon rising in the morning also makes a difference. So unless there is some cause for fluid retention, that's why people are generally lighter in the morning.
So I suggest all of you to weigh yourself in the morning. That is the normal weight you have because all food and fluid you have taken were already processed/digested.
Hope this helps. :)
Thanks, Jhan_net
