I finally received a fedex email today and no wonder I did not receive the order as it was only shipped on 21/10/2010 and I have been waiting and waiting....
I actually lodged a dispute with Paypal yesterday and they must have contacted the seller and I got a response within 24 hours. Maree from their customer Support team sent an apologetic email and said she will resolve everything and then I received the Fedex email.
It was good that I really got behind them otherwise there would have a further delay. Hopefully I will receive my order by 25th or 26th Oct. Will keep u all informed. If you are waiting for your order like me for over a month and have paid with your credit card and are registered with Paypal then lodge a dispute and hopefully you will get a quick response.
I think John is the contact person who runs the business in Australia. He is not helpful and was initially quite rude himself. I am never ordering from this site again for sure.
Regarding weight loss I know that a lot of people have achieved positive results but remember it was all because they followed a strict diet and excercise. The adverstising on the website is certainly misleading.
I lost 2 kgs in two weeks with the first bottle and I was taking 3 Acai Slim pills a day. Ofcourse I followed a very strict diet and excercised regularly, so I could have achieved the results even without the pills I guess. Yes It does suppress your apetite upto a certain extent but they are not magic pills. Other pills like Fat Blaster etc might do the job too.
Weight loss will be achieved with a good balanced diet combined with excercise and a healthy lifestyle. Also one needs to be disciplined with a strong & can-do positive attitude. I put my second order through before I finished my first bottle. I lost 2 kgs and then did not lose any weight in my third week. I only had 6 weeks left then before my trip so I decided to join Jenny Craig. I have lost 3 kgs in 3 weeks only with Jenny Craig and have another two weeks to go. I will be a good healthy weight and am quite happy with my results.
So once I receive my Acai Slim pills hopefully next week then I will take those which might accelrate my weightloss maybe in inches and then thats it. I will try to keep my weight off on my own with a good diet and excercise. (A challenge for me with all the yummy food and mum's cooking when I go overseas).
So whoever is considering to order for the first time please think in all perspectives and then decide.
I really hope I receive my order by next week as I don't want to lose my money. (FINGERS CROSSED).
Friday I got a FedEx email with a tracking number which was cool as I got to see my package move from place to place all in one day ! Today I get an email from AcaiSlim saying there was a problem with my first order and they have sent another via FedEx (which I already knew), checked to make sure it was still the same package and yup it is, now in Alexandria Australia !! YAY good start. The email from AcaiSlim also said that I will get 50% off my next order, hmmmm hopefully the next one won't be so slow !!

That's really weird because I got mine through Australia Post. You would think they would use the same shipping method with each order. The only thing I can think of is that they have no idea what they're doing.

same story with me. ordered on 24th sept., sent an email to them on 19th oct about might having to file a complaint with paypal, got a reply next day with same copy&paste response everyone's been getting:

I guess 50% off on the next order is a good deal (if there is no immediate expiry/increase in price later on). Hopefully this is just a bad period for the company and no one else has to wait this long ever again.
doubt its just a bad period for the company Viet! So not happy with these 2 companies and am going to do what a lot of the people of this forum have recommended and simply go to the chemist next time to get my acai.
This exerience makes me never want to purchase online again :(
Check out the times your emails were sent by Louise, she's in the US because of the time difference. I'm not happy I'm not dealing with an Australian company and someone in Australia. I also suspect that it all process in the US and shipped to someone in Australia who then posts it via Australia Post to make it look like it's from an Australian company hence why this company has NO ABN as it's NOT Australian.
I put in my second order last week just in case it does take another four weeks to get here. Then if it happens again I think I might just go to the health food store and buy the powder that chunkydunk was telling me about.
