I only started ysterday, haven't noticed any changes yet, as some people have commented on extra energy or better toilet habits, none yet. As for the scales, mum bought me digital scales last Christmas and i have found them too inconsistent, they vary way too much so I am going to try the old ones and see if they make a difference, also I will measure myself weekly, otherwise I will get too despondent if I don't see anything positive happening. Does anyone else have a preference for scales.
hi kath , maybe give your self a bit more time to adjust, from what all the other members have said ( i have not started yet ).... some people the change can take a week or two before it kicks in every one bodys are different so dont give up hope keep your self on the right track and i am sure you will be rewarded for your efforts i wish good luck and hope you start to see results soon i prefer the old type scales

I bought digital scales and I started weighing myself every day which isn't a good idea. Mine also fluctuated a lot so I weighed myself on my old scales. Then I moved the digital scales around the room until the weight on the digital scales was the same as the old fashioned ones.
It has taken a month for my weight loss to really kick in. My clothes are starting to get lose on me. I posted something on one of the topics with regard to weighing yourself I'll see if I can find it.

digital scales may seem to be inconsistent but only if you are weighing yourself more than once a day. this is not a good idea. unless you have a scale that can tell you how much of your weight is bone and water weight then you will be getting false results from digital scales. i use digital scales but make sure i do it only once a day or 2 days to be realistic. think of it this way. we are required to drink at least something like 2 letres of water a day to lose weight and reduced bloating but 1 letre of water equals to 1 kg of water.
unfortunately acai didnt work for me at all but i have started something new and the number on the digital scales are going down realistically without constant fluctuation.
I know you shouldn't weigh yourself every day I just got a bit carried away there for a bit. I'm only weighing myself once a week now. But as long as my clothes are getting loser on me then I know I must be losing weight.
I use acai with exercise and I also count kilojoules, it's the only thing that works for me.
