I'm pretty active but nothing i can do is shaking the weight, i'm not usually a fad's kind of person but have checked out this site and going to give it a go with my normal gym and dieting and see how we go. have 3 weddings to attend by June and i wanna look smoking hot! LOL 16kg's is my Goal weight... thats 75kg's cos i'm at 91kg's now and it feels so feral! this is the biggest i have ever been!!

Thanks! i only ordered it all on friday and i just got the slip in the mail as i missed the delivery!! how quick was that! i can't get it till tomorrow now but i'm super excited. my no sugar, no wheat, no crap diet started today with more exercise added... just waiting to go and buy a tape-measure to do measurements also

weighed in tonight at the gym before starting any acai slim @ 90.80kg's... my goal is to get down to between 75-80kg's. I'll start my tablets tomorrow with some Zumba to go with it!

Hi Besse! :) Welcome to the most helpful site on losing weight. You got a nice username. :) Well then good luck on your goal. Just stay positive. It seems like you're hard working and patient with your no sugar no wheat diet plus exercise in a gym. Weighing after a week is a good way to surprise yourself. Good luck :)

Luckily cairns was pretty much spared from the onslaught of Cyclone Yasi compared to what south of us copped... i managed to get my power back on today and also to the shops.
i've taken my measurements and have started straight up with the 4a/s and 2 of the c/c too, my bowels have a mind of there own usually so see how we go but so far so good and no side effects.

Busy 112cm (please stay that way!) waist 98cm hip 119cm thigh L 67cm thigh R 68cm

That's fantastic that you got the power back on. I lost power during the floods in Brissie isn't it horrible not having power? I was that scared not knowing whether our house would flood or not that I was walking back and forth to the Brisbane River watching the water gradually rise and not eating just walking. It was really good for my diet.

yeh we were only without power for 36hrs thankfully. we left the house as we are in a low lying area and were expecting a good storm surge. last night we had a bit of flsh flooding but it went down really quickly. We went up to Kuranda (up a moutain range) to see the massive barron falls that were simply amazing in sight form the amount of rain we've had. i'll try somehow and put a pick up here to show... was a nice walk though, hopefully the gym and all shops will reopen tomorrow. My Zumba classes resume on monday! they surely get the heart rate up!

how much water should i be drinking a day? i used to drink heaps btu then got told tht drinking too much could just make me retain fluid... your thoughts?

If you have too much salt in your diet you will retain fluid, I try and have between 2 and 3 litres a day, but that's just me I'm sure there are people that get results with more or less than that.

I used to drink a lot of water and I'm pretty sure I was retaining it. I decided to cut down because I'm sure I was drinking to much and it was making me heavier.

i usually drink a mimimum of aabout 2ltrs a day but i guess that comes with the heat of living in Cairns... so stinking hot up here... but sometimes more sometimes less... i might play around with it a bit... i'm not a salt lover which is a good thing but my BF is, so when he cooks i'm forever watching over him! lol at least he cooks for me i guess :-0 usually steak mash and veg but he goes alright!

Yeah I know what you mean about the heat, it's pretty bad in Brissie at the moment. I am actually hanging out for a storm. We haven't had any significant weather events since the floods.

Besse, yeah you should watch out for the salt. It really has an effect on your weight gain. With the water, I think the amount of water you drink at the present is enough. I usually drink lesser than 2 liters and my doctor said I should increase my fluid intake.
thanks for your answer ladies i hope you get your storm belle, i know what you mean about needing it to cool it down! we got one over lunch up here, been getting one good one a day since Yasi, but the 2 days leading up to it was feral!
i will watch any extra salt on what i eat now, make sense now why all those sports drinks like powerade have so much salt in them to retain water afterwards now... LOL

yeh i prolly could have been a bit better this last week as i had a few too many wines to calm the nerves with that cyclone stuff! lol but apart from that i did alright.. craving sugar like crazy though i'm a big sweet tooth but i've got chromimum supplements to help me with that and also been that time of the month so i guess only natural to feel bleh!! bring on friday i say!
