slim! don't stress wait until monday comes around and weigh in properly then and also take measurements... when i go to the gym i have a bad habit of getting on the scales all the time... too! last week i went from 90.8 to 89.7 back up to 90.8 and then down to 88.9! up and down like a yo yo... i've had a week eating out and not being good and now i'm back up in the 90's again but my actual weigh in day isn't till tomorrow...

have you tired cutting as much wheat and sugar from your diet as possible? when cut wheat out of my diet i tend to not be so bloated and feral and lose weight too...

i'm dreading weigh in day tomorrow... but it is also measurements day after 2 weeks... its not going to be good but i haven't been good so i can't complain.

Hi Besse,
I know, but every time i am tempted to weigh myself LOL.
Since taking A/S & UCC i haven't measured myself. I love raspberry bullets, so ate some yesterday, but i don't have a sweet tooth that eat cakes & lollies. I eat salads most of time for lunch and i cup of rice for dinner + meat/veg. I wonder if cafe late every morning is not good to drink (medium size).

you cant take all your creature comforts away now! gotta give you something as a reward for your hard work already at the gym! rasp bullets are amazing! i've just traded off a few items... rice for pasta as rice is GF (gluten free) wheat sensitive bread if i have any, sorbet instead of ice cream... and nothing can replace chocolate! lol i'v a massive sweet tooth but just managed 3 weeks sugar free! if your a soft drink fan try the sugar free ones or, simply soda water as it makes you think your having soft drink when it isn't bad for you at all just carbonated water! ( sometimes is good also as it breaks up the normal water routine) i've been measuring myself nd have loss in cm's but not so much in kg's yet though but remember muscle weighs more than fat so if your exercising alot this could be why. and it isn a bad thing as your body will eventually then burn fat instead of build the muscle if that makes sense!? smile.gif

hope this makes you feel better, smile.gif your first loss wasnt bad still, mine was 800gms too

It does makes sense Besse! :)

Slim, don't be sad. Our weight fluctuates everyday. Weight can swing up or down due to fluid changes. Set a fixed date to weight yourself. :)

I have found  that if I weigh myself after I've been for a walk that 's when I get my best results.

Slim, i don't think it's the coffee, I have a cappucino 3 days a week and a normal coffee every other day, I just make sure I limit myself to only 2 coffee's in a day, most of the time I only have one though.

The girls are right, if you are going to jump on the scales everyday, don't take the weight to heart, make sure your brain knows that your official, mark it down on the calendar, weight is on one particular day, I try not to get on the scales too often but I do have that problem, it also helps, if you are going to do that, to work out what is good for you and what is bad, I know that Indian is not good and that pizza is really bad, just by noting my weight the next morning after I eat that.

Stay positive you'll do fine, don't get hung up on your daily weight, our bodies change daily.

Do you eat like a whole block of lindt chocolate or just one piece?

I think you should watch your calories intake. I know it's kinda hard but come on, you can do it girl! :) Yogurt could also help you in dieting. I have read from a book that it has live micro-organisms and good bacteria that aids in digestion. Try the non-fat one. Good luck :)

@ pretty_georgia: gippsland organic natural yoghurt is the best you can find in Coles supermarket IMO.. have you tried the Jalna yogurt? it tastes terrible with a lumpy horrible texture and quite sour. the Gippsland one (bright light green lid) is amazingly smooth when you mix it up a little, especially with a teaspoon of honey. that's how I eat it.

i can't eat really sweet yogurts anymore.

With that I must agree! Gippsland tastes better than Jalna. Have you tried the Frozen Yogurt at Malls? It's delicious I tell you. It's my comfort food.

slim, i don't remember anyone I've talked to losing 3-5kg a week, maybe on a once off basis but certainly not consistently, it just isn't good for you body to lose that much so quickly, so don't be concerned you should be very happy with what you've lost this week.
