I'm elle, and today i started the first day of my weight loss journey.
I now that with hard work and a lot more exercise i can budge the weight that has stuck to me (he he) for the past 2 years. (since having my child)

I'm just cruious if any of you have any tips besides the obvious eat less and healthier and move more? Like if taking more pills works better or not and whether you need to drink more in order for the pills to work? Currently my fluid intake is limited, I just forget to srink unless it is coffee or tea something that sounds stupid but im working on it.

I'm only taking the acai slim not the colon cleanse and im taking three.

is that okay?

@ elle: welcome to the forum! :)

the regular dosage is 2 per day but yes you can start with 3 to boost the effects on your body. take one before breakfast, before lunch and another before dinner. if you think 3 tablets is giving you slow progress, try increasing it to 4 then. maximum is 4 AS.

yes, you should drink more water to see faster results.

if you have any question, just ask us, we'll be happy to answer you. :)

good luck! :)

Hello there Elle! Welcome to the site :)
In my case I take the pills 5-10 minutes before meals. And I can say that's the best time to take them. Well then Good luck! Keep us posted :)

Hi everyone thank you for the lovely welcomes, it's nice to have found this site and to have others so supportive :)
To answer your question Dinkidi I'd like to lose about 15 kg and I have no real time limit but before the end of the year would be nice, I realise that it is better to not pressure myself to reach a particular goal too soon or it will just be too off putting if i dont reach it. So im trying to to this the right way the healthy way, which means more exercise eating right and of course forcing myself to drink more. It also means not caving into chocolate cravings which will be hard. But if you all can do it and you're all doing really well from what i have read :) then I'm sure I can and will.

I don't own a tape measurer but I'm hoping to go and buy one tomorrow so I can see if im getting results that way and also on the scales too.
From what i have read it's best to weight in weekly and measure too? Some of you have said you may not lose on the number but it will show in cm is that right for everyone?

I'm so excited about this!

I'll keep posting if you dont mind as it will be good to have some others who are doing the same thing especially if im having a bad day or visa versa so we can all encourage eachother.

You mean your taking 3 a/s am and 3 a/s pm? So a total of 6 a/s a day? Or your taking 3 a/s in the morning then 3 c/c at night? :)

Hi Elle, welcome to the forum. :)

Yes, if we did it, you can do it as well.

Not all need a tape measure actually. It's just for people who don't see weight loss in kgs. But if you see kgs lost, I think no need to measure yourself. Yes, weekly weigh in is the best to track your progress. You can post your progress in this thread. Own it. :) You should set a fixed day to weigh yourself. Do not weigh everyday as you will just see fluctuating results and get confused.

We don't mind if you post everyday, we actually love that, right girls? Don't you just love it when your posts get replies in just few minutes?

Hi Elle :)
Nice name ;)
Hope all is going well with your weight loss! I just started taking the AS and CC today, I've started myself and my partner on 2 AS and 1 CC a day just to see how we go :)
I've been reading all these though and starting to think I should be taking more? I might give us both another 2 AS this afternoon :)
I'm really excited for them to start working as I'd really like to lose 8kg by my 21st (May 26th)
Hope all is going well for you and everyone else on this site :)
Everyone on here is so lovely and always able and ready to answer any questions you have :)

Good luck to everyone here, I hope everythings going as you'd like :D

Hi everyone, thanks for the notes after much stressing over my overdosing of the tablets i am happy to know that it's not going to do any damage and that i have been told to start with two a day. I wont be taking colon cleanse due to the st johns wart in it but im taking the acai so far no difference in scales or cm but im hopeful.
Has anyone found themself not feeling hungry at all and going nearly all day before remembering to eat?
I'm just never hungry on these which is good but i have come out in hives did anyone else start out with hives from the pills?

Oh my god hives???? Isn't that something that you get when you have to much stress in your life?

The only problem I had was when I was taking 4a/s a day I was having pretty bad dizzy spells so I have cut back down to 3.

I count kilojoules and try and eat a healthy diet. I usually have a balanced diet with fruit and vege and a bit of chocolate everyday.

I also have one cheat day a week. I do a lot of exercise as well, today I walked for an hour and a half and for some reason I have sore arms today.

Were you walking the dogs today Belle? Prehapse they pulled a little too much and you've just pulled a muscle or something?
have you lifted anything heavy lately it could be a delayed muscle reaction.
keep an eye on it!
I've also been counting clories i try to stay under 1000 a day mainly healthy but i allow myself a small piece of chocolate (my weakness) a day or ill binge if i deprive myself.

@ ellevis: how's your boyfriend's journey with the tablets? any good news?

@ elle: i think the most wonderful effect of the pill aside from it gives us energy is the appetite suppressant.it's just so wonderful that it helps our minds get rid of the craving with a happy heart.gif and full stomach. biggrin

Hi Elle

I am so happy that someone else is counting calories. smile I walk my dog every day and when I walk at Peninsula Animal Aid the dogs get over exhited when you take them for a walk and pull on the lead. They usually calm down as soon as we get outside though.

I have a finger infection now and I think it was from the cute little kittens I was playing with on Saturday. They were found in a box in the bush and they're a tiny bit feral.

I love working with animals but unfortunately you can get bitten, scratched and sustain all sorts of injuries.

I have to go and wake up "Her Royal Highness" now so she can get ready for schoo.

@marga

My partner hasn't really lost much weight because he hasn't been very consistent with taking the pills :s I try to remind him to take them when I do but he forgets alot of the time, especially when I'm not there to remind him. He does look a bit less bloated which he's happy about :) and he hasn't been eating all my leftovers since taking the Acia slim and colon cleanse either :) so I think they're working for both of us, thankyou :D

I find counting calories give me more of a control feeling, I dont know if thats a good thing but it keeps me honest with myself too, also i have my partner keeping an eye on what i eat so i do have to report to someone which helps, though i gave into tempatation over the weekend it all comes back off with the exercise, ive noticed im less round in the face so it has to be a good thing but a tad bloated in the stomach :(

hows the finger belle?
how are the rest of you all doing?

No change on the scales but feeling a lot better so thats a plus
anyway just quick touch in gotta run off to a zumba class (well at a friends a group of us are doing the dvd)

I like counting calories (well kilojoules in my case) because if I have a bad week I can go back and see what I've done wrong.

My finger is much better. I can't believe how something so small can cause so much pain. I have had infections b4 but this one was a doooozzzzyyyy.....

I just soaked it in apple cider vinegar and water about 100 times  and stuck a pin in it and squeezed all the pus out numerous times. It seems to have worked.

I have apple cider vinegar when my stomach plays up. I mix it with water it's good stuff. I was soaking my finger in watered down apple cider vinegar and it really works.

My finger still hasn't recovered....I thought it was getting better but then it started playing up again this morning.

I worked at Peninsula Animal aid today and had to wear a glove to protect it but unfortunately a dog bit it off and it bit the top of my finger off.

@ ellevis: you are welcome. a bet would be a nice game for both of you, who loses weight faster is the winner. that would be fun! because i know you will be the winner if he forgets it always. biggrin

@ danag: your friends should hop in the forum as well. they are welcome here.

@ belle: that sucks. adding insult to injury. animals' temperament are not predictable. there are times when my dog acts crazy. sometimes, he will bark and then hide under the couch. hope your finger will feel better soon. btw, are the dogs/cats vaccinated? hope they are.

I was joking about the dog biting my finger bit. I have only ever been nipped by a dog. I have been bitten by cats though, it really hurts.

As a lot of our animals at Peninsula Animal Aid are strays and we don't have their history there are a lot of animals that haven't been vaccinated. We have to get them vaccinated, de-sexed and micro chipped b4 we can sell them.

The kitten that bit me last week has been fostered out to a womens prison in Brisbane and the prisoners look after the kittens until they are old enough to be adopted.

thanks for the encouragement sorry i cant be on to often i feel so bad but im cheering you all on for the side lines and distance!
belle id love to do what you do working with animals but my allergies would be a nightmare (allergic to cats and dogs) so when my partner goes out with his dog he has to strip off as soon as he gets to back door or im sneezing and eyes water and all make sit hard but i do love animals. Would be such a rewarding job too especially when you find new homes for them i imagine.

measurments:
thighs: 64cm
stomach: 77cm
hips im going to do again coz that includes my muffin top that seems to be shrinking so im happy about that i even put a pair of size 12 temt pants on yesterday though im sure they were stretched already so does that count lol?

anyway seems to be working what im doing so ill keep doing it

until next time keep going ladies you
