Orange Juice

Orange juice can be healthy a beverage. It's rich in vitamin C, a powerful booster for your immune system, and it contains hesperidin,

a natural chemical found in plants that may offer healthy benefits, especially for the heart.

Green Tea

Herbal tea can offer benefits, especially green tea. The leaves used in green tea are rich in polyphenols -- antioxidants that fight

against harmful components called free radicals. Free radicals are compounds in your body that damage cells, and can cause health problems and even death.

Low Fat Milk

Milk in general is healthy, especially low-fat milk. Low-fat milk provides the same health benefits of whole milk, without all the fat.

It's a rich source of vitamin D and calcium, and both are supporters of teeth and bone health.

Soy Milk

For those who cannot drink cow's milk, soy milk is a safe and healthy alternative.

It's naturally rich in essential vitamins including vitamin A, some B complex vitamins, as well as D and E.

I am finding beer to be very beneficial to my health ATM. I like to unwind after a day at the office with a nice cold stubby and find it very relaxing which I think is good for my nerves and good for my heart as well.

Strangely enough I have always lost weight after drinking more wine than I should! On saying that though, very rarely does a day go by where I don't drink a bottle of wine, even though they say wine has empty carbs, I have still managed to reach goal weight and not stop drinking.

That's why I started drinking beer Dinkidi...I just though that if you can reach goal weight on a bottle of wine a day well I should be able to lose weight if I have a six pack...I also made sure that the beer is low in carbs. It seems to be working to because I lost a kilo this week.

Yes me to...I am trying for the female equivalent..I thought a six pack a day and a few sit ups and I'd be right.  I'll  have to experiment a bit with the beer and wine and see which one aids me in my quest for a flat stomach..I'll keep you updated on my progress.

moderate consumption of alcohol, including beer, has been proven to reduce the effects of high cholesterol, heart disease, some forms of cancer.

if i'm not mistaken, beer has only 100calories right?

When Sally and I get together there will be no moderate consumption going on we'll be drinking a good six bottles of wine between us.

Woah! That's a lot, dinkidi and Belle. Your tolerance for alcohol must be high.. There are times when I can only consume 1 bottle. But there are also times when I can drink 3-4 bottles and not feel dizzy or tipsy. I guess it depends on my mood, too.

By the way, I have read that you have to make sure that you have eaten well before drinking. And that you should drink 1 glass of water for every glass/bottle of beer you finish. This helps flush alcohol out of your body.

i've read somewhere that white tea may have profound power against cancer-causing cells and against many different types of cancer, such as colon, prostate, and stomach cancers :)
