hi Belle... i'm not too sure how the kj thing works but maybe increasing it would be a good idea because it seemed to work for you last week. I know what you mean about exercising like a woman possessed omg even when i think of junk food i feel like i should punish myself and do 1000 sit ups or something LOL... i hope the increase gives you better results next week... i haven't been doing the kj or cal count i have just stopped junk food and sugary things, i drink more water daily, and i don't snack all the time on the kids school stuff (even tho it's so yummy and easy). Maybe after my weigh in if nothing changed too much i should look at the counting method. If you don't mind me asking what is a daily eating plan for you like? You have been doing so well with your weight loss and cm loss i was just wondering if i should look at planning my meals out, maybe that would be easier to because it would already be done and in the fridge.
Well it's fairly basic but I have a bowl of cereal for breakfast and 2 cups of coffee ( I love my coffee).
For lunch I'll have either a salad or salad sandwich (pretty exciting huh?) I've also discovered falafels they are for vegetarians and they are low in kjs and yummy.
For dinner I usually have some sort of stir fry. I don't eat a lot of red meat because I just don't like it but I do eat chicken. So last night for eg I had chicken curry and I also eat a lot of thai food.
For snacks I have 6 jatz crackers.
Today I had some chocolate bullets and and iced coffee but I always measure them and add them to my daily kj count I don't just stuff a whole packet down my throat. I do still get the urge to do that though.
I also do a 45 minute power walk 6 days a week and then on Saturdays I work at an Animal Shelter and pretty much run around like a mad woman for five to six hours.
Also now that it's spring and getting hotter I eat a lot of salads. If I'm having a splurge day and have pizza, I will just have two pieces of pizza and salad.
So I suggest eating salad, salad and more salad. I just make up a big bowl of it and leave it in the fridge most of the time.

sounds good... thanks for that... i'll give it a go. that is kinda what i do but the coffee is tea i'm in love with dilmah tea, the stir fry i had last night and instead of a normal sized plate that the rest of the family have i use a bread and butter sized plate and i try not to stack it high LOL although very tempting i know what you mean. Sounds like you have it all under control, your work at the animal shelter would keep you very busy and fit, can't believe you can also fit in the power walking, good on you that's great. thanks again :)
have a bonding moments with your daughter belle.. yay! enjoy it.. :) if only my son can go with me hiking and bungee jumping i will surely be happy.. LOL i still have to wait for maybe 12-15 more years? lol!

good job Belle... that's great... so you'll have to write that in your diary or something... if i remember correctly up the kj and exercise like a possessed woman LOL fantastic result as least you are in control of what's happening... i'm still at beginning and experimenting LOL
Because eating is so easy! We just put it to our mouth, chew it then swallow! It's as easy as 123. LOL! Then if you want to burn what you have eaten you have to do so many things............ really hard! LOL!

Actually it's not that easy for me but I still managed to put on weight and I was exercising as well.
I have trouble getting food down my oesophagus occasionally after having an op in 2009. I had a hernia that had pushed my stomach up in to my oesophagus so I had an operation where they tied the upper part of my stomach to my oesophagus. I was getting really bad reflux because the muscle that opens and closes after you eat was stretched so I was getting reflux.
Anyway the Surgeon did the wrap to tight so I still have trouble getting some foods down like rice for example.
But I still manage to put on weight.

Yes I am okay most of the time. Sometimes food still gets stuck in my oesophagus for no good reason and I get excruciating pain if I eat to much in one go. So it makes it easier to lose weight so it's not all bad. I just have to be careful, I really don't want to go back into hospital.

Just put more extra careful while you eat. Being hospitalized is like a hell to me. LOL! It's like you're a prisoner and the nurse and doctors are the policemen. LOL!
