Hi girls, Its now been 6 days and I have not lost 1 gram!!!! I have even gone to the extent of using my Polar HRM to see how many cals I use in the day, without exercise (about 1,000) and after exercise (about 1,700)... I calculate that i eat about 1,000 cals a day, excess of 1,800 cals.... I take 2 A/C and 2 CC in the morning and at night.... but nothing!!!!! Whats happening???? Is it me??? My genes??? Or that this is just an expensive Placebo?? Can someone please shead some light on my shadow??
This may seem silly but you need to eat more. I found that I stopped losing weight when I cut my calories. I count kilojoules so your only having 4200kj per day. I have found that if I have between 5500 and 6500kj a day I actually lose more weight.
I think what happens when you are only eating 1000 calories is that your body panics because it thinks it's being starved (which it is) and holds on to the fat just in case.

OMG! kittylisa I understand how you feel right now. Are you weighing everyday? I advise you to weigh once a week. So that you will not feel bad if you see no good result at all. Don't worry too much youre only on your 6th day. Maybe your body is still adjusting. Good luck. Hope you'll see good results soon.

Hey Kitty just wanted to let you know your not alone-I've been on acai for 8days and yesterday after 7days of eating bugger all I was 1.2kg heavier and felt the same as you very disheartened but I went for a half hour walk yesterday and bumped my intake up to 3 of each per day and this morning I am 400grams less now I only have 800grams to get back to where I started lol!Good luck and stick with it I guess it's just different for us all!!!
@ kittylisa: give it more time. look how sugarfree went after a week, she lost 400grams now. our bodies have different reactions so your body may not yet accept the effects of acai berries but soon it will. also, try measuring yourself instead of weighing. some people lose cm's instead of kg's like dinkidi but she now managed to lose in kg's.good luck and remember, we are here to help you achieve your goal with our support :) Goal: 36-24-36 with AcaiSlim
Hello Kittylisa! I lost 5 kgs in my first bacth of AS and CC. I took them for a month last August. I am now on the 2nd package for 27 days and have lost 3.2 kgs. I stll have a month to lose 1.8. So I can say this is working for me - again.
Bugger all to me Belle is not snacking during the day on crap no softdrink or alcohol plenty of water and having smaller portions for meals-I've since come to the realisation that I eat practically nothing during the day cos I just don't feel hungry I've never been a breakfast eater and by the time its night I tend to wanna snack all night and the longer I'm up the more I snack lol!! I'm going to try change my stragegy and force myself to eat something during the day even when I'm not hugry see how that goes?
@kittyLisa: im on my 8th week now and i already lost 9.6kg.. My target is to lose 40kg.. I really need extra effort to achieve my goal.. I start with 2 each day then increase it to 3 each day.. I see to it that i watch what i eat and do exercise heaps.. It is really a big help.. Good luck to you.. Don't lose hope.. :)
I totally understand about snacking at night because I'm the same.
What I had to do was to start eating more in the morning and then be careful with what I eat at night.
So after I finish my main meal at night if I'm still hungry I have some fruit for eg. a bowl of pineapple or a kiwi fruit. Then if I'm still hungry I'll order a pizza... sorry just kidding.
I have muesli bars there only 370kj and they're yummy.
Then I get stuck into the white tea and I'm usually full by then.

I advice you guys don't eat too much especially at night or before you go to bed, the tendency is you will have a hard time burning the calories in the morning because we just sleep at night right? and the fats stays in your body.. So when the time that you will weigh yourself in the morning the weighing scale gives you a not so good number.. :)
Thanks for your advice khloekobe. I remember one of my friend advice that to me also, but I didn't follow her. This is the 2nd time I heard of that thing, so I think I will do it. lol! I used to eat before I go to bed because sometimes I can't sleep.

@hotmamma: yea try not to eat late at night. that will reall help. because your body won't burn the calories while sleeping.. Or if you eat at night,, sleep after 4 hours, it takes an average of 4 hours for our body to burn whatever we took in.

make it a habit hotmama. they say that if one thing is being done continuously for 7 weeks, it becomes a habit that we can't easily take away. so make it a practice not to eat hours before snoring hahaha..
great for you belle. but i remember what marga said, our body has different reactions to things we do. good for you then that you still lose weight even if you eat at nigh.
I am such a night snacker but have tried to focus on not snacking at night and eating a smaller meals for the past 3 day now and have recorded a loss each day ( and yes I am still weighing myself daily but its making me feel better especially after a loss lol) so I think this is working for me !!!!
Just cutting down on your food intake and not eating to many "high" calorie foods plus a bit of exercise is all you need to do. You don't need to follow 15 rules that's way to many rules.

Hey GUNNABE I posted the guidelines under ab circle pro guidelines but I'm not a stickler for them I am definitely one of the rule breakers too ha ha if I was and could manage to follow them all I'm pretty sure I wouldn't need the aid of acai i'de be some kind of a fitness machine ha ha it's just something extra for everyone to read!!! And I agree BELLE I think key to losing weight is common sense really but sometimes its easy to know the right thing to do and actually putting it in to practice lol I start the days all positive and fall off the wagon all the time lmao

@ khloekobe...i thought i had a bad weekend (two cheat days together), yet this morning somehow i had lost 700g in 3 days or something not sure how that went, maybe scales felt bad for me and gave me false reading LOL
It's not that hard really it isn't.....I work with a lot of skinny girls so that's a pretty good motivation for me.
I am also sick of people saying "your not fat your in proportion" or "you look healthy"
I am also sick of my cat meowing, it seems I can't do anything to please him. Oh well I guess I'd better take him to the vet for a check up. I'm sure he'll love that. lol

My cat's doing the meowing thing too maybe it's the moon is it due to be full soon?
If someone tells me I'm big boned I retort with "Have you ever seen a fat skeleton" that usually shuts them up. My cat is a pain in the arse but I like difficult animals so I just put up with it.
I know what I really hate is when you finally start losing weight and people start to notice it and they say "Your losing to much weight" or " if you lose anymore weight you'll be skin and bones"

I thought how easy it is for her to say you shouldn't focus on what you weigh or how pretty you are but focus on your mind and what you can contribute to the world!!! Bwah ha easy for her to say when she is both skinny and pretty and rich and famous-that ****s me so holier than thou lol!!!!
