yes very very happy with the loss im starting to notice weird things like my shoes are too big whats with that??????? and why is it when you lose weight it is always in the bust first????

i've lost 7.5cm off my bust 7.5cm off my waist and only 1cm off arms 1cm off thighs and 1 off hips oh well im sure it will even out

Lol, whenever I measure myself I shut my eyes and say "please not the bust, please not the bust" so far it's working I've only lost a couple of centimetres, have lost more off my waist, not as much as I would like off my hips or thighs but oh well, any loss is better than what I had before.

At the moment I'm on a mission not to go back over the 89kilo figure, I just made it under last Monday, fingers crossed for this coming Monday

Yes I noticed the shoe thing, I finally bit the bullet and bought a new pair of sandels the other day because the old ones were flopping around all over the place. I don't think I've lost that much weight from my bust line although I haven't measured them for a while. I mainly have lost weight from my stomach it was the fattest bit so I'm happy about that.

Those measurement figures are excellent I bet you feel terrificsmile

Wow that's amazing Hopeful 2! Hmm I think it's in the bust first because the fats that are easy to burn are situated there.(?) Oh am sorry. It's just a wild guess. I too don't know. LOL. Just happy for your results! :)

well i had a set back but at week 13 now and start weight was 104.4 and this week 95.8 so total loss of 8.6kg think that i need to work a bit harder now as my body is starting to get used to the routine I'm doing need to step up the exercise and keep watching what and how much I'm eating
overall though I'm pretty happy with these results considering in the last year to date I've lost 16.7kg and half of that in the last 3mths i hope you guys are doing well too i cant wait now to get in the eighties not long.....:)

Well done, you've done a great job, don't worry about set backs, you are very focused and you will get there with some determination.

Getting to the eighties is a great feeling, then each kilo after that seems like a new milestone!

thanks for the encouragement it means a lot
I'm trying to stay focused but also trying to just make it a part of life i don't want to always be obsessed with my weight i want to be able to maintain and keep it off but as a lifestyle
I guess this is where people feel the pressure cause you have to make that decision about what you really want and what you believe or think you can do if you don't think or believe that you can do it you give up and think its all to hard
I think I am changing as I'm losing and I will continue to try no giving up for me....

It does become second nature eventually, I started cutting back on the amount of carbs I was eating, it's funny now that I actually look at labels to see which is the better product with less carbs, and I'm much more aware of what foods contain high carbs and which don't and if I have a choice I'll avoid them or have only a small serving.

I didn't realise how many carbs are in softdrink, not that I drink it much, but I was surprised, also how many are in fruit, in a medium size banana there is 40gr, the diet I read wanted you to stay at 20gr or less a day, so even one banana took you way over the limit.  I haven't limited myself to 20gr a day but I do try and keep that figure in mind, it's working, so if it's not broken don't fix it is my motto !

Watching carbs sounds very restrictive to me I just count kilojoules and I eat whatever I want as long as it's within my daily allowance.

lol I'm like that with counting kilojoules, I know it's not rocket science but it all sounds too hard, I don't even know how many I should have each day ! or the difference between calories and kilojoules and how to convert from one to the other.

Your just a rockstar Belle, if it works then stick at it I say

It's easy once you've been doing it for a while. I usually have approx. 6500kj a day which is about 1500 calories.

DD, I also look at the labels of the food I buy. Now, we call that label OCD. Haha! But I also read that you need to assess you activity level. If you are overly active, your body will need more carbs than an average active person.

Hopeful, you are doing a great job and giving up is not you. By the way, how's your mom doing?

I'm no where near as active as I should be LoveMe, so small amounts of carbs should and is working well !

I also do look at labels of the food I buy but not always.. I'm still on a "cheat day", so if it's my cheat day I buy whatever I want and eat whatever I want (not too much).. :)
