just finishing off some painting cos we are doing renovations then off to the gym for a sesh... which is where i will weigh in. did my measurements when i got up thismorning... i'm happy with all of that for sure apart from my bust!!!  but last week wasn't a good week to begin weigh in as it was that time of the month! lol oh well better results now... might also be my measuring... lol

 

also did a workout routine.... so i understand tht i might not lose weight but build muscle because of my exercise... hopefully it will payoff and then burn the fat faster!

wow Besse, well done, measurements are sure showing good results, I lost in cm's originally too before weight, not that I've lost much in weight but I'm not putting in a huge effort yet either, I was happy to lose centimetres though !

I can remember when I first started I used to measure myself. I can't be bothered now I just hop on the scales and hope for the best.

I haven't been good enough to measure myself ! I'm just happy to see the scales going down, however slowly that might be !!

well i'm certainly on a mission LOL i dont lose weight easily but i know i can get cm's off... so heres hoping for the best.. i really wanna be down to a comfy 14 and would love love love to be able to get into a 12 at some stage... have a wedding in fiji in april where i am chief bridesmaid and i wanna look hot! lol i'd also love to get in some nice lingerie for my sexy man and not feel fat!

lol if that's not enough motivation for you then I don't know what is.

At least you have a deadline it helps too.  I am wanting the same thing by end of June I wan't to look hot in a pair of bathers !

I went shopping yesterday for a new dress to wear to 2 weddings and I felt really good about myself, haven't wanted to buy anything other than new jeans and t-shirts for ages, I was trying on stuff I wouldn't have even looked at before !  I want to get to a comfy 14 as well, at the moment I'm skipping between 16 and 18 depending on what it is and where it is made.

yeh i'm at a 16 and should prolly be in an 18 sometimes too but i just can't do it... i know it is just a number but bleh! you understand! lol i've always batteld up and down with weight, but 92 was the biggest i got which was last year and then i went on a mission like i am now and lost 8-9 kilos just just eating better and flogging the gym! lol then i got on the road and it is hard to do that whilst travelling and camping and ending up in darwin with my best mate for 4 months going out all the time! lol alcohol is my biggest let down for sure.
i had 5 weddings to go to by july... i've just had to rsvp to two/three of them with a no cos of my work i can't be home.

Alcohol is my biggest problem too, I can say no to chocolate even though I love it, I adore carbs but have cut them right down to almost nothing, but for me to say no to a glass or two or three of wine ...... Nope not happening !

I lost 13 kilos in 8 weeks when I was splitting up with my ex 9 years ago, i've put it all back on then some ( I love my lifestyle now, lots of eating out and copious amounts of wine ) I remember how good I felt then, I wore tight jeans and my old denim jacket and had my hair coloured and cut, I felt (and think I looked) awesome !  I want to get there again, and I am going to as slow as it might take me I'll do it !

i'm a sucker for the wine.. but i can do vodka and soda also so that will be best.. i will be having a few tonight... maybe a few more than a few! lol and i crave sugar!!!!!! i even made my man a cake yesterday and only had a small bit when he ate 1/2 the cake in one hit! damn him for being sexy already! lol

i've got a pair of shorts from when i weighed about 72kgs a few years ago ( 2007) and i wanna get back into them and have them falling off me again... i got to that weight by a personal trainer ( when i was in the navy) getting me up b4 work every morning for 6-8 weeks and punishing me at 5am and then eyeballing what i ate! lol fish and salad was about it! lol

Because we lost everything in the Black Saturday fires, I don't have any "fit back into one day clothes" left, which is a good thing, at least I don't have to punish myself if I don't get there and I get to buy new sexy stuff !

Personal trainers are good but you also have to keep it up when they are not there, unless you are married to one you have to do it on your own at some stage, making small lifetime changes is better at times I think you are more likely to not fall back into the old traps.

Sometimes I wish I was like Oprah and have my own dietitians, cooks, trainers etc, but to have them hanging over me all the time would be stifling, I wouldn't be able to sneak the occasional bit of chocolate or drink !

Vodka is good there are no carbs, just depends on what you put with it !  Enjoy it though, we only live once so make the most of it I reckon.

Even though Oprah has dieticians and a personal trainer she still struggles with her weight. 

When I go to the shops now I don't buy food "just in case" I just say to myself do you really need that doughnut or cake or whatever and usually I won't buy it. It saves money to. Only occsionally I have a splurge like the one I had yesterday.

I also to that belle, after a month of giving birth every time I go to shops I usually buy everything I want.. But now since I'm on a healthy diet I just buy fruits, veggies and lots of non-fat yogurts.. :) :) :)

I'm not into junk foods anymore, because lately I am having UTI infection.. So my OB advised me to lessen my sodium intake..

I have had years and years of that (UTI) and my Dr told me to take cranberry tablets to see if they'd make a difference. Well miracle of miracles they have, I take two a day now. I recommend themsmile

I think I pay about $14.50 for a bottle of about 30. I get them from Coles in the medicinal section.

I'll try to take that.. She told me to take a lot of water everyday.. I think I'm doing that but I don't know why I'm always prone to have UTI.. :(

I found that drinking more water didn't do anything to help. They say to drink more water so you pee out the infection. I used to be in bed for a week and in agony sometimes. I haven't had that problem (touch wood) since I started taking the cranberry tablets. I don't mind spending money on tablets when I know they're going to help me.

ok so my liver might hate me but i take a bunch of tablets.. whatever your body doesn't need it just pees out anyway...

i take chaste tree to keep my pms and sore boobs under control...also help with fluid and bloating and stuff

i take chromimun to keep my sugar cravings under control

i take digestive enzymes (was b4 c/c co i dind't know ho if would affect me) to keep my gut working and bowels!!

i take magnesium to control my muscles and keep them in order and stop from cramping/tightness

i was taking a liver shot haha cos the amount of wine i love... nothing like a good cleanse when i work on a dry ship at sea....

a muliti vitamin... but you pee turns bright yelllow so it isn't from being dehydrated...


i'm actually right into the health food stuff... any questions just ask me

My daughter had a UTI and they told her cranberry juice (which she hated the taste of) and cranberry tablets, they worked well.

My Dr told me that you'd have to drink copious quantities of cranberry juice for it to work. That's why she said to take the tablets. I take them everyday now and so far so good.

I have found that with a healty diet and exercise and plus I weigh a lot less my health has improved. I've been able to stop taking a lot of medication because I'm that healthy I don't need them anymore. LOL

sooooo for good work this last couple of weeks at the gym and everything last night i rewarded myself with vodka and cranberry's!! but i managed to get up early and still go to water aerobics! :-0 weighed in whilst i was there not thinking i'd get a good result from last nights antics and the awesome BBQ i cooked up but i weighed in at 89.1! i was naughty and went to the class without eating though... so thats a good number for sure! 1.7kg's!

I've been taking Kirkland multi vitamins. Since my work is shifting, I need that. Those vitamins make my pee bright yellow green. So I always need to flush the toilet full blast. Lol!

hey ladies! been awhile i know but i have been in melbourne on holiday... and geeeesus i fell like weigh a tonne! head home toorrow and haven't weighed in but did take measurements last friday bt i am going to wait till friday and see what goes... cry.gif not looking forward it though!

i head back to my job on monday which is working away at sea on a ship... i will have internet but my scales won't be accurate. i'm gone for 5 weeks but i will be taking my tapemeasure! then its time for fiji after that!!!

how fast this year is going!

yeh i won't get a exact weight but i can just tell when the kg's change as i will weigh in when it is calm! hopefully! LOL but get good food out there and a great gym also and i get sea sick!! lol only if it is rough though. i'll check in when i can but i don't leave till next week so you have me until then!

arghhh yesterday i ordered more AC and CC to take away with me, paid through pay pal but forgot to change my address! i've emailed everywhere i can to try and change it but i haven't got an respose still!!! grrrrr its going to end up in brisbane where i can't collect it and they Won't let someone else collect it if someone isn't at my folks house!! GRRR!!!

rightio ladies! HI from the ocean!

i've been working out heaps and still taking my as and cc... not sure exactly on weights but yeh ok i guess since being out here with no temptation of alcohol... i put all the weight i lost back on when i went on holidays and have been struggling to get it off again... so hitting the gym and trying to stay away from the fresh bread that is baked every night on board my ship here at work and the bakery stuff!! so hard though as it is the only comfort we get out here cry.gif

anyway my last measurements in was on thursday night ( i am on night shift so it screws with your metab and everything!!!!)

waist 94
hips 114

a cm down on each since the first week out here...

i would love for my hips and waist to drop a fair bit more... i weighed in tonight on these scales as we are in sheltered waters and it came on around the 90kg mark... i came onboard around the 92 mark so i guess thats 2kg's gone yay...

anyway, glad to be able to check in smile.gif

good to hear from you Besse, sounds like you are doing well considering the difficult circumstances, although no alcohol would be a bonus, I really need to drink less and I'll lose more I'm sure of it, can't this week, but next week I just might consciously try hard. !

yeh it sucks! haha i love a vodka to unwind! when i get home from work ( work 5 weeks on 5 weeks off) i head to fiji for 10 days and brisbane for 5 aswell... then home for one and back to work for me! its a bit crazy really!!!
