Hey Aussie Jo, do Dorper sheep need any special attention or do you just shove them in a paddock like we have with our goat (except we made him friendly so he comes to us and is a pain in the **** coz he is so friendly !)

Do you happen to live anywhere near me? do you know where I can get some from?

I'd love to have a "goat" friend dinkidi. Aussiejo said that the dorper sheep are for mowing the grass.

Fabulous, as long as they are friendly and get along with our chickens we are about to have and our Rufus (the goat, who likes to sit on the roof of the excavator !)

Hi Dinkdi, No Dorper sheep don't need to much special attention. They do need to be fenced and the fencing needs to be goat proof. I live on the outskirts of Wangaratta and purchased the sheep off my ex brother-in-law who lives on the outskirts of Shepparton. They were pretty much destined for the coolroom cause they were not uniform colouring and therefore wouldn't fetch a good price at the sales. You could try going on the Dorper Sheep website and finding out if anyone has any rejects as such for sale. We paid $80 each but that was mates rates. You should be able to pick them up from $90 - $120 each though cause it is not like they are breeding or showing stock that you want. A whether should be fairly cheap cause it is a male who has pretty much been desexed.

Thanks Aussie Jo, our fencing usually keeps our goat in, occassionally he finds somewhere to jump but a bit of hot tape sure teaches him especially when he sniffs it! LOL

We haven't introduced the sheep to the chooks yet. They are still a little flighty. Used to no human contact and being in a large mob. They are only a few months old

I know I shouldn't but I couldn't resist. I stepped on the scales today to see how I was doing since my first weigh in on Saturday and I have lost another 1kg. WooHoo 4kg in 10days. Bring on Acaislim and a skinny Jo will emerge from her coccoon. Hope to get my supply soon. Not in todays mail but not being to stressed about it, know I may wait months like some of you gals. I will just continue doing what I am doing smile

Well not only could there be some not needed as or cc tabs for members to offload but I am sure some wardrobes will need renovating, especially after we all start/continue losing weight.  Clothes replacement would have to be one of the most expensive parts of weightloss. Maybe we could have a buy, swap and sell section smile

Yeah I know what you mean...most of my clothes are lose on me now and I've only been able to buy myself one new top and one pair of dress shorts it's pretty sad.

I wore on of my daughters skirts the other day because I have a skirt the same in a size 16 but it looks ridiculous on me so I wore her size 12 skirt. Oh and I have some new bike shorts as well.

Yup I have some jeans and some 3/4 pants that are wayyyy too new to throw out that I could  put in the swap and buy section !  And considering that all my clothes are only a maximum 2 years old that is really good I guess.

Thanks guys for your grats on my weight loss . Sorry I haven't been on the last few days. Trying to juggle small business and selling it, with family and other stresses. My weight loss is rated second best at this stage. My family and family business is far more important. Without these, well at least without my family, I would not be able to exist........I am still waiting for my delivery of the weight loss miracle of the decade..granted I paid for it on 21st march but still we are now into a weekend so, and only because I know big brother is watching, it would be nice to receive my tabs early next week. Being in retail I am one for giving very good customer service and I will not appreciate it if I don't get the same back....

Ahhh Yes WooHoo... I got my tabs today.

Looking forward to some pretty significant weight loss babies.

I plan to get into many items of my cupboard that have been hiding, in fear of being stretched to oblivian. No way baby.

I, Mother of 5 and Grand Mother of 4.5, will be spunky within the next month or so. WooHoo!!!!!!!!!

Watch this Space biggrin

Thanks everyone. Letting you all know that I am going offline until after Easter.

First we are are going away camping for a little over a week.  Glad I got the tabs cause storage for fresh fruit, veges and salads is limited in our camping fridge. I try to limit the naughty or not so diet friendly foods but may have to consume some foods higher in carbs or fat than I normally would when at home. I made a decision not to take any alcohol. That is when I nibble on chips, dips etc.

After we finish camping we have to go to our supermarket  and work the Easter break (public holiday rates cost too much to have the casuals working). Will be working 14 hr days so won't have time to scratch myself. Looking forward to reporting a significant weightloss when I get back on line.

I hope you all have a happy and safe Easter and hope the Mums and/or Dads have a not too stressful school holiday break.

Make sure you limit the Easter Eggs. You don't want to undo all your good work smile xxoo

You are so brave going camping and not taking alcohol, I thought that's what camping was all about !! Or is that just me again lol, the easter eggs I can now do without, not so sure that I could go without alcohol while camping though !

See you when you get back AussieJo, happy Easter

I haven't been camping in years. Natasha, Buddy and I would like to go camping but it just never happens.

Someone just knocked on my next door neighbours door...which is really funny because she's deaf. What's even more funny is the lady that's knocking on the door is blind. That would be an interesting friendship how do they communicate???

Yes they have an interpreter.. because my neighbour is deaf instead of having a door bell she has lights...so when you press the door bell the lights go on and off so she knows someones at the door.

I always think it's funny when someone goes to the door and knocks...it's even funnier when they're blind.

Sorry I shouldn't say that but I can't help myself. I have another deaf lady that lives in one of the townhouses as well and she can lip read and she talks really really loud it's so annoying. I can have all the house locked up with the tv on and still hear her.

hmmm i like that door lights. interesting. because sometimes i feel deaf! i could hear some tick sounds and sometimes i feel like a sea shell is on my ear. yeah, that beach-ysound/ feeling. i had it checked but the doctor said everything is fine on my ear, so i don't worry on it too much.

Your need to go to a hearing place to get your hearing checked. I have the same problem it is because I have had sinus all my life and it affects my hearing. I am used to be partially deaf now. But I still need to have hearing tests done because I will eventually have to use hearing aids.

Hi all. Hope you all had a great easter and hope all the Mums/Dads had a not too stressful School Hols. Haven't stepped back on the scales yet. Waiting for my allocated day - Saturday. Didn't take alcohol with me for our camping trip as promised. Didn't stay on the wagon though. Definately shouldn't go to towns with bottleshops. Was not as naughty as I normally would have been so I guess that is a good thing. Spent Easter running our supermarket working double shifts. Glad to be back home. Having a pretty lonely, teary day today. It is my eldest Son's birthday today and I miss him soooooo much. I am going to have a nice dinner and glass of bubbly with my family and get through it.
