Oh Belle I am so sorry to hear that *hugs* I will be praying for you and I do hope you can sort out the problem with your ex-boss. I will be praying that Belle will have a better day at her work experience. It is not nice when adults take advantage on kids and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I rang my boss and he told me that he's put it in. He's obviously lying to me cause it's not there. I really hate it when people tell lies like that. He should of had the guts to tell me ages ago that they were having financial problems then I wouldn't of had to had gone through all this stress.

I have been having problems with them since December...I used to get paid on a Wednesday and he gradually started paying it later and later and later. He never gives me payslips either.

We're planning on going up the coast for one day this week end...as we both need a break. So I thought one day at the beach would be a good idea.

Thanks Dana. Sorry to hear about your puppy problems. Did you know that I worked at an animal shelter and I also work with problem dogs. We have so many dogs dumped at the shelter because they jump the fence it's so sad. When people adopt a dog we always let them know if it's a fence jumper and we always make sure they have adequate fencing so this isn't a problem.

yeah thats sad Belle, my dog is a German Shepherd. We had the fenced worked out so that he couldn't jump. Chelsea is going up to the fence and talking to him, so clifford is jumping it to get to her. We fixed that one, just made our gate higher. Our next door neighbour has a new dog so clifford wants to play and has now figured out to jump the fence again *sigh* both neighbour and dad think they have solved the problem I hope cry

A friend who works with animals suggested to use Electronic Fencing, not sure if I should tho.

I am still having dramas with no money going into my bank account. My client paid his invoice via direct debit on Wednesday and the money still hasn't gone into my account.

I rang the bank yesterday and they said that it can take 24 to 48 hours for a direct debit to go through. I was worried because todays a public holiday and the guy at the bank assured me that it was done by computor and that the money should still come through.

So I just have to sit here and hope like hell that it goes in.

Bloody sick of all the stress. I am going to start working really hard and earning enough money so that there is always money in my bank account.

At the moment I have about $10 to my name.

I seriously don't get this. Last week my client DD (direct debited) the money on Thursday and the money was in their on Thursday night. This week he DD the money from his bank account on Wednesday and the money still hasn't gone in. It doesn't make sense to me. I have to sit here stressed to the max wondering how the hell I'm going to make it through the holidays. It's not fair!!!!!!!!!

That is very strange Belle. Is there anything that the bank can assist you with to help? Some banks will give an emergency payment at their own discretion. I tried it with my bank a few weeks ago but he said no. Its worth a try. hmm

The banks aren't open today because it's a public holiday. I spoke to a guy at my bank yesterday and he said that it can take up to two days. I said I was worried because today is a public holiday and he said that it doesn't matter the money should go in anyway.

I'm just going to have to start saying "NO" to my daughter because it is because I am always giving her money and then I run out. I will start putting money aside so hopefully I won't be put in this situation again.

That is a very sweet offer Dana thank you so much, I'll see how I go. I think I could make it till Wednesday but it's Natasha that's always wanting money. I only spend money on acai slim and I bought a new pair of joggers recently. Most of my money goes on Natasha and food of course.

LOL I know the feeling Belle, my kids want money to. I buy more for my kids than I do for me. I am forever buying them clothes, toys and shoes. The other day I spent $100 on getting their rings. I love spending money on them. LOL one day will spend money on me. Belle its good to keep some money just for you. wink

@ belle: i also have the same problem. i can only get my money on tuesday night because of the holidays and weekends. lesson learned for both of us - save money.

by the way, just wondering didn't natasha get her own pay from her new job yet?

@ belle and danag: you deserve to buy something for yourselves. it's just like having a cheat day on your diet. you need to reward yourselves every now and then from working your butt off.

Natasha was doing work experience it was only for a week and you don't get paid.

I only have $17 to last till Wednesday and I have 4 cats and a dog plus a teenager to feed.

Also, I was told by my client that he transferred money into my account last Wednesday so it should of gone into my account. He must of been lying when he said that.

Do you have a teenager marga?

I don't think the amount of stress that I've been under lately is good for me at all. Especially when I've had post traumatic stress disorder. It usually comes back when you are really, really stressed. If I have another episode of PTSD I won't be any use to anyone. The last time I had it I don't think I left my bedroom for a month.

Marga, Yes I will be treating myself. Since I have been working so hard, I am getting my ring paid off this week and getting it back the following week. I am going to be buying size 16 clothes in the next coming weeks as my size 18 are getting a little loose. I am so excited.

MY CAR GOT BROKEN INTO YESTERDAY AT THE COLES CAR PARK AT MORNINGSIDE.

I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM PENINSULA ANIMAL AID AND STOPPED OFF AT COLES TO BUY A FEW THINGS. I WAS ONLY IN THE SHOPS FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES.

WHEN I GOT BACK IN MY CAR AND WENT TO UNLOCK THE STEERING WHEEL LOCK THE LOCK BARREL HAD BEEN TAKEN OUT. I WAS JUST SITTING THERE STARING IT I JUST COULDN'T COMPREHEND THAT SOMEONE WOULD DO THAT.

THERE WERE HEAPS OF PEOPLE I CAN'T BELIEVE NO ONE SAW IT.

I rang RACQ because I couldn't get the steering wheel lock off with out the lock barrel in it. I was just hoping that they could somehow get it off for me.

The guy from RACQ couldn't believe that some one would do that either he was looking all over the car and under seats because he thought it'd just fallen out by itself ??????

Anyway in the end he got it off for me. So now I can't lock my car as all my car door locks are stuffed and now my steering wheel lock is stuffed.

I had to tie a tarpoline to my car last night hoping that no one would steal it.

Thank god it's still there.

Hopefully it won't get stolen and I'll get a new steering wheel lock for it on Wednesday.

WHEN I WENT DOWN TO THE CAR THIS MORNING I WAS UNDOING ALL THE ROPE AND TAKING OFF THE TARPOLIN WHEN I HEARD A CAR PULL UP IN THE CAR PARK AND IT WAS A POLICE CAR AND THEN ANOTHER POLICE CAR PULLED UP. By this time I was starting to get nervous and so I asked them what was going on. They said there was someone staying at one of the units that wasn't supposed to be there. OH MY GOD!!!!! I went to the bakery and then when I got back they (the police)were dragging this guy (he was handcuffed) out to the car. He was kicking and screaming all the way. I went to check on one of elderly neighbours to make sure she was okay and she said there were some people staying in Unit 3 and they were very quiet. I reakon he was an escaped prisoner why else would they be being quiet????

@ belle: oh geez! you had a terrible holiday! i really hope that you get your money very soon so you can buy your new steering wheel lock. to hell with that jerk/s who got into your car. i hope they get caught like the one in your neighbourhood.

i was just thinking, does buddy get to sleep inside or outside the house? i think he can be a good guard and look out for your car. is he wary of strangers?

I live in a town house and I am right up the top far far away from the car park. The car park is actually right out the front where anyone can just walk in and help themselves. Also Buddy can't bark he was debarked by his previous owners.

I am hanging out for some money we are both hungry and Natasha's getting really cranky and yelling at me which doesn't help.

I can't wait till Wednesday:):):):) to get paid (hopefully).

I got my single parent pension (thank god) but still no pay and I was expecting some child support money as well but that hasn't been paid either. I'm going to be very careful with my money this week. I'll be invoicing that gorgeously handsome young man that I work for (dinkidi knows who I'm talking about) and I'm 99% certain that he'll pay me. So that'll be an extra $100 that'll probably go straight to Natasha but ya get that.

Just spoke to my client and he has put the money through again. He said if it comes through twice then he will just be in credit. I said that's fine with me. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I'm getting really good at waiting.

Some of my clients wanted to pay me cash which is tempting but I'd rather do everything above board. If I'm going to make this work then I want to do it properly. smile
