Thank you all for your patience. I decided to give you the update for last week's and this week's result today. I lost 300gms last Saturday which I was so happy about...took my mind off that 100gms I gained the week before. And today, I lost 200gms...that's 500gms total in two weeks! Total weight loss is 17.5kgs in 9 months now.
That's right...I'm aiming for 60 kilos and I'm only 500gms away...make it 300gms away because I lost 200gms today. Total weight loss is 17.7kgs in 9 months and a week now.
Thank you all so much ladies for believing in me. Thanks also to everyone who's wished me luck because I have reached my goal yesterday!!! I'm here right now because I had/have everything I need/ed. AS, everyone here and my determination. I lost 500gms yesterday but really I only had 300gms to lose. Total weight loss is 18.2kgs in 9.5 months now.

yaaaayyy!! you finally nailed it, eh, Lizzie? congratulations!! you deserve a round of applause! you were able to hit what you're aiming for so you definitely can maintain your weight.
Thanks for the congratulatory posts and for having confidence in me. Thankfully, I still weigh the same since last week. Whew! But it's no joke. Have to work harder than before.
Thank you also and you're welcome, Lizzie. I'm still doing pretty good now that I'm off the pills. I can always start taking them again just in case but I'm sure I'll do just fine.
I certainly am doing just fine, Stephie. Thank you. However, I'm not saying that it's an easy task to maintain my current weight. I hope I can manage for as long as it takes.
I know how you feel Lizzie I think we're all in the same boat when it comes to maintaining our new weight...I still do a food diary...otherwise the weight starts to creep back on.

You're right, Belle! It's okay to have a little bit of this and that every now and again but if you don't take note somehow of those little bits then the next thing you know, you're right back to where you started.
Thank you, Summer. Glad to somehow be an inspiration. I'm doing just being a mum. We go for afternoon walks at times but mostly I do my exercise around the house. How is everyone?
Hi Lizzie, glad you popped back in, this forum can be addictive !
I'm good thanks, just waiting for 8 more days till I fly out of this ****ty wet weather into some heat! Not to mention it'll be hot anyway with my new body to show off in bathers!

Oooooooeeeeeeh! Try and defeat the sun. I don't know why I'm getting all excited about your holiday...I'm not the one going! But I can't wait to hear all about it. Where did you say you're going?
I don't think I have said where I'm going lol. I'm off to a little island called Langkawi, its off the coast of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. This will be the fourth time we have been there, we just love it!

Not once you get there, we stay at the Sheraton resort, there are probably cheaper ones but we like this one and we are creatures of habit, most of the resorts are right on the beach, we walk out our unit and within 3 steps we are on sand! The island is a tax free island and is still secluded enough that tourists haven't really found it yet, unlike Phuket, Fiji and Bali! So it is still very natural and the people there are amazingly friendly. A taxi trip across the island which takes about an hour costs about $8australian, try getting a taxi to even pick you up at your house for that, let alone actually going anywhere!

Dinkidi, how much is your hotel per night? My family and I are planning to go on a vacation. I searched Langkawi and it looks really wonderful! That $8 taxi ride is a magnet! Makes me choose Langkawi instead of Kota Kinabalu.
The other good thing is the food, if you eat out of the resort, we went to a seafood restaurant just down the road from the resort, there was 7 of us, 3 were drinking copious amounts of alcohol, the prawns were the size of lobsters, we did also have lobster, it cost us $150 Australian. You can also go to the local market which is in different parts of the island every night, you buy a burger for 30cents.
We stay at the Sheraton, it's not the newest or fanciest but we love it there, we have a beachfront room and breakfast is included, it is the biggest breakfast you have ever seen, with chefs cooking at stations, the breakfast room would be the size of two houses filled with tables of food! You don't need lunch after it I can assure you! Our room I think is $300 a night, if you compare that to Hamilton island, which is about 4 times that and you get less, it's good value.

Oh that's awesome!!! $150 for 7 persons with those prawns and lobsters is the best deal! $300 per night is great since it comes with a big breakfast/lunch in 1.
When do you usually go there? Are months of June and July perfect to be there?
We have always gone on the first Saturday of the June/July holidays. It is their wet season so it is quieter, but even though it's the wet season it doesn't rain much or for long and it's still warm! Last year it was raining when we arrived then stopped and didn't rain again until we left! We fly out on the same flight each time too, it leaves at 12.15am on the Sunday which means that we get to Langkawi at 9.30am, so no jet lag! There is only two hours difference too.
