That's sad about your labrador dieing..I know how upsetting it is when a beloved pet dies. I was a wreck after my cat died during an operation and couldn't stop crying. In the end I had to tell myself to just Stop, so that's what I did. I still think about her though.

Also your weight loss is fantastic to by the way..keep up the good work.

Congrats Irish! It's amazing that with acai slim it's possible to LOSE weight over Christmas while the rest of the world gains weight!

So sorry to hear about your dog, my dog is my baby so I can understand how upsetting it would be. Just be happy knowing you gave her a love-filled life and she was probably sooo happy everyday of her life :)

So sorry for your loss Irish, pets become so much a part of the family don't they. Great work on your weight loss though, well done!

Thank you Belle, Newme, Dinkidi, Betty and Badmintonplayer. It's still hard to recover from our loss. Alexa was so dear in our hearts. She has been with us for 10 years, so it was devastating. But I know I will get over the pain. We're planning to adopt another dog again. Maybe a Lab again or a Great Dane. We love big yet gentle dogs!

Thanks as always for the comfort, ladies!

After almost 3 weeks of not updating you ladies, I'm back! It was a tough holiday for me. 29th of December was the worst day of my life. My Labrador, Alexa, died that day. So it was not the usual happy new year for me and my family, especially my 2 kids. But don't worry, I'm doing good now. I still think of her of course but I'll get through this.

Good news is that I lost weight since I posted here. From 95.9 kg before Chrstmas, I am now 92.8 kg. So that's a loss of 3.1 kg. I guess it was all because of stress and sadness my family and I experienced over the last 2 weeks. Wasn't able to exercise and watch my food intake. But I still took the pills on time.

My starting weight is 102 kg
My goal weight is 60 kg
My weight now is: 92.8 kg

Sad to hear about Alexa. no

Good to know about your weight loss, though. smile

That's not a happy story Irish.  But you'll get through it.  Maybe she has served you well enough and needed to rest this time.

Go get a new one then.

Hello everyone! I decided to weigh in fortnightly (just for two weeks). I admit, I was always tempted to step on the weighing scale. haha! Anyway, I lost an amazing 1.1 kg in TWO weeks! Yay! I'm proud of myself because I know I did a great job in the past two weeks. It's an awesome reward for me!
