Hi! I'm Sophie! I just started taking the pills last Tuesday. I think I'm just starting to feel the effects today. I had a bowl of cereals for breakfast and now I haven't eaten lunch yet. Not feeling hungry at all. Is that the appetite suppression effect? I can't wait to start losing weight! I have about 22 kilos to lose. How long would that take me? Are daily walks enough as exercise?
I've seen some threads on the forum and found a lot of nice and helpful people. Hoping to interact more with all of you.

Hi Sophie, I should have looked further before I commented to you in my thread. Glad you are feeling the appetite suppressant already. I also found my nails grew stronger, my skin clearer, and my hair healthier. On average I lost a little more than a kilo a month, but I had good months and bad ones. Try not to lose it too quick, you need to train yourself on the things you should eat and what you shouldn't. Walks are great, that's all the exercise I do and it works for me, unless you need to target a certain area.
Good luck, keep us posted and ask anything you need to anytime.

hi sophie, you are having a wonderful start! i would say yes, that is the appetite suppression that the pills do on our body but remember, you still need to eat ok? 22 kilos to lose - well, it depends on how disciplined you are and how your body reacts to the pills we have different reactions, some lose weight faster, some slower but it tell you, whatever loss you get, be happy. it's a loss anyway, always remember that.

Oh, thank you for your reply and for those tips. Target areas? The first one would be my tummy! I sometimes have muffin top. Next would be my thighs and my arms. Do I need ti hit the gym to work on those areas? I hope I would also experience clearer skin and healthier hair.

very well said dinkidi. i missed you!
I need to eat? Okay. No problem with that! We probably need to see my weight loss first, huh? And I would definitely be happy with any loss I would get. Thanks!

If you are a gym person then you could give it a go, it's more about firming up loose skin than going to gym to lose weight, walking will do that by itself. Some don't have issues with things returning to their "original" places (tummy, thighs, hips) others do, see how you go and assess it, don't forget, it is a lifestyle change, so change and tweek things as they become necessary.

Lifestyle change... Got it! It would probably take a while, but I will do my best! I want to lose weight, not just to look good, but be healthy. So a lifestyle change would be really necessary. I wouldn't want to have any illnesses just because of weight problems.

my friend who is a gym instructor said that the trick to a healthy living is making small changes like adding fruit to your cereal, having an extra glass of water, etc.. just like you summerlove, i wanna look best for my own benefit. hope this product could make my weight loss faster.
That's right, summerlove...health is wealth. And if we have to have a lifestyle change then so be it. We do need to do our part to lose weight...takes patience and determination, too. I wish you the best of luck!
Thank you Solana and Lizzie! I have started some small changes... I've been doing my best to drink more water, bought some vitamins and started stacking up on fruits at home. I have a feeling this lifestyle would not only benefit my want to lose weight, but it would be great for my health, too. I still have to do those religiously. I know it's not easy, but I just need to constantly remind myself to do these things if I want change, right? I've decided not to go to they gym yet. Walking and Zumba are enough for me now. Is skipping rope a good exercise? I bought myself one months ago, but only used it for a few days.

Yes, it's a good exercise, too. It's great that you now have some form of exercise to go with the pills, summerlove. Solana, thanks for the tip. Makes a lot of sense...make small changes...take baby steps.
Hey Sophie! Yes, it suppresses appetite. That's actually the best part of acai! But don't starve yourself, okay. Eat if you're hungry. Only if you're hungry and not if you're just craving.
Hi Sophie, the suppression effect on me is that I eat less and feel full already, unlike before that I get hungry so fast and when I eat, ughh it's like there's no stopping.
Thank you so much for your replies! I am doing great. I am really feeling the appetite suppression effect now.. I sometimes skip dinner. Not intentionally though. It's just that I don't feel hungry come dinner time and I sometimes forget that I have not eaten dinner yet..
About Zumba... Yes, you don't need to be a good dancer to do it. I myself, am not able to execute the steps properly. I just do what I can to do what the video shows. It's really fun, especially once you get the hang of it! I also do Zumba alone at home.. I'm still a bit shy to do it in front of other people..
Well, yesterday (09 Oct) was my first ever weigh in.... I lost 2.9 kg in 4 weeks! It's not as amazing as the results of other members. But hey, it's still a loss! I might not have been able to ever lose weight, if not for the pills and finally convincing myself that I really need to lose weight. I now weigh 79.1 kg. Oh! It feels great to be below 80 kg! Cheers to Acai berry!!

Summerlove, I have been reading all over the forum you saying "I'd like to lose as much as you, I'm not losing as much as others, I need to do better, work harder...." Don't be so hard on yourself, all you are doing is setting yourself up to fail long term, it's not about how fast you can lose the weight, it's not a race or a competition, it's a lifestyle change, you need to re educate your body and mind for a long term goal not a short term one. Just keep doing what you are doing and don't rush it, it doesn't need to happen over night, in fact it's better not too!

Now that you pointed it out, I realized that I am being too hard on myself.. Maybe because I just really want to lose all the extra weight. And I am a bit jealous that others are losing more. Not that I am unhappy with my result so far. I am also aware that reaching my goal would not happen overnight. And that losing a lot of weight in a short time isn't always healthy. But I am really doing my best to change my lifestyle.. Lately I have been consuming less sweets.. Before, I usually have sweets almost everyday. Now I have it on weekends. I haven't drank soda in a long time, too. So I guess I am doing good, right?

You are doing great, that's why I wanted to stop you from being negative, the results you are getting are fantastic and you should be proud of what you have achieved.

I've learned a lot from this thread. Thank you sophie, and thank you, dinkidi and all the others who shared their thoughts. Mine to keep in mind for my own weight loss goal.

As I have said to dinkidi, the support that we get from this forum is really great! Being in this forum is a continuous learning process. It's great that we learn a lot and even better that we can also share some of what we know that can be of help to others.

Just a few days late of posting my recent weigh in result.. I am feeling great right now! My 8th week weigh in (Nov 6) showed that I have lost 2.8 kg in 4 weeks! I have been seeing changes in myself lately. Not just with my diet and activity, but also with my outlook towards weight loss. I can't wait to see the result of my next weigh in..

You are doing great on your losses Sophie. Much better than mine. I hope to do better on my 2nd month weigh in now that I am not forgetting to take my acaislim :)

Thank you Amelia! Try setting reminders on your mobile. That might help you to not forget to take the pills.

Hello! I am here again to update you about my recent weigh in... Got on the scales on Dec 4 and I was really happy to see a 2.5 kg loss in a month! A little slow, but I'm not complaining. As long as I lose weight, I am happy!
How is everyone doing? Enjoying the festivities so far?

Well done Sophie, losing 2.5 kilos in a month is awesome. It does get harder to lose weight the older you get so it's to be expected. At lease it's a loss and not a gain.

Thank you Belle! I gotta agree to that. Losing weight as you age gets harder, especially when you can't do intense exercises or activities like when we were young. I'm just really happy that I have the pills to help me and the support of everyone here.

Hey, Sophie. 2.5kg in a month is not bad. I would be more than happy to lose that much even if it takes me 2 months, lol! I was sitting at 63kg for 3 months now and really wanted to get rid of my last 3kilos. So that's a good loss. Good on ya.
@LongLegsLangley: I actually think it's still a great loss, Mia. Not complaining at all. I wouldn't mind small losses, as long as it means that I'm still losing weight. Let's be happy!
@Stephie: Thank you!

I am back! Happy New Year everyone! 4 weeks have passed and I weighed in again on Jan. 1st. Imagine how nervous I was to weigh in on the 1st day of the year! But wait..... Even after all the great tasting foods over the holidays, I managed to lose 2 kg in 4 weeks! Not bad, right? Now, my total loss is 10.2 kg. I still need to lose 11.8 kg to reach my goal.

Thank you, Lizzie and Stephie! Yes, it's not easy to lose weight during the holidays. Since I knew I would overeat, I had to increase my exercise time whenever I can. So maybe that is what helped me lose that much weight.

Hello! Weighed in a couple of days ago and I lost 2.9 kg in 4 weeks! I now lost a total of 13 kg in 20 weeks! 9 kg to go till I reach my goal. A little better than the last one. No more parties and I started eating healthy again. I am still doing exercises regularly. I am getting more excited, especially now that I'm getting nearer and and nearer to my goal!
